Perry Saturn was in and out of the hospital last week with respiratory issues and has since been discharged, according to a video posted Tuesday on his YouTube channel. Maven filled in for him on the video.

Chase, who records the channel's interviews with Saturn, said Saturn texted him on October 5 that he wasn't feeling well and asked to push their recording back a day.

"Tuesday came around and he ended up going into the hospital," Chase said. "He's been having some, we'll call it, respiratory issues, and it's a whole slew of respiratory issues. He ended up in and out of the hospital pretty much all of last week."

He said nobody close to Saturn could reach him for a couple of days.

"We could not even get in touch with him for a couple of days," Chase said. He said he was talking to Sonny Onoo, "who's very close with Perry, and we were all very concerned, calling constantly. Luckily he surfaced last night, had just been discharged."

Chase said Saturn "seems to be on the right track now," but it could be "at least a few days, if not another week or maybe even over a week" before he can record again.

"He is going through some medical stuff right now. He will be back," Chase said.

Last month, Saturn said blood clots in his lungs after two hip replacements led to congestive heart failure. He turns 60 on October 25.
