🗣️ “When I called Jerry after the race, I said, “Man, I think I blundered a couple of times out there.” And he said, “Dude, you’re three-for-three. In the marathon, you’re almost supposed to scratch the first one, two, maybe three, before you even know if it’s what you should be doing. I need to remind myself sometimes that it wasn’t that long ago that I was asking whether I’d even be good at this.” 

24 hours after crossing the finish line of the Chicago Marathon in 2:05:35 (8th overall, 2nd American and now No. 3 on the U.S. all-time list on a record-eligible course), @_charleshicks rejoined The CITIUS MAG Podcast to break down his third career marathon. It was a race that delivered with tactics. Although he has some complicated feelings, there’s zero regrets and a lot of confidence heading into the next one.
