Music Advocacy Day may have passed, but the work doesn’t end when the meetings are over.

As a recording artist, producer, and independent creator, I know firsthand what it takes to bring music from a whisper of inspiration into the world. The time, the investment, the sacrifice, the LOVE.

And while technology continues to evolve, we must ensure that the people behind the music are not left behind.

Our voices deserve protection. Our creativity deserves ownership. Our labor deserves fair compensation. And our legacies deserve to survive us.

I’m grateful to the Recording Academy for keeping these conversations alive and reminding us that advocacy isn’t a moment. It’s a responsibility.

Because music is more than entertainment. It’s culture, history, healing, livelihood, and LEGACY.

Music is frequency. I am the harmony. And legacy is the song. 🎶✨
