Behind the Edit 🫡

We took our Ford Everest and asked ourselves how far we could push every single detail of this car. All of it was built with Nano Banana and Seedance 2.5, which is available on higgsfield.ai 🚀

Every shot started with a real photo. I drove down to the beach at sunset and shot the car from every angle, so we had a real base to build on instead of guessing, plus a POV clip for the hand swipes. Going out and shooting the footage is still one of my favorite parts of the process and it’s absolutely necessary for the results and the quality I am looking for.

From there we built the kits step by step, hundreds of designs until we had to pick the best 4, and then went deep on the details, wheels, front grill, hood, the rear, all of it. Actually being able to see the ideas come to life and design parts of a car like that was crazy 🤯

Then it’s a combination of techniques in Seedance 2.5, video to video, start frame, end frame and up to 50 references per shot. That is what makes it work, because the camera move stays identical while the parts keep switching mid flight, so we can seamlessly transition between them mid shot ⚡️

Last step in the process, but by far not the quickest, was After Effects. 3D tracking and designing the HUDs around the car and onto the laptop screen, then speedramps to the beat, transitioning smoothly between the clips and the car part changes, and connecting all the shots so it looks like one single camera motion from start to end 🔥
