## Caption

Being blind growing up I always wanted to find that sense of community through sports and it was really tough because I could not play most sports like every other kid. When I found wrestling a whole New World opened for me not only did I find community but I also discovered true hard work. Because I was blind coaches had to work differently with me showing me moves so I could feel the movements and be able to feel the right positioning, and I am grateful for every one of those coaches that came into my life. Getting to be able to share my knowledge with other wrestlers and in this situation, other Blind wrestlers is so meaningful to me. Having the opportunity to work with these kids was a highlight because it reminded me so much of myself, wrestling gave me purpose and an outlet to let out my anger and some other emotions. It taught me motivation, hard work, and most importantly that things don’t just happen overnight, there is no easy button you can press in this life. You have to put in the hours and truly chase your goals even if you never reach them. It teaches you so much. I love wrestling and what it has done for me in my life and hope to share that with other wrestlers and show them how these things translate over into your everyday life. One love 🤼🤼‍♀️🤼‍♂️ #wrestling #practice #sports #workhard #highschool
