On a perfect fall day in Wisconsin, the teams from the state of Washington: Gonzaga, Washington State and Washington checked out the Thomas Zimmer Championship Course, where many of the best teams in the NCAA will race in the Nuttycombe Invitational, perhaps the best collegiate cross country meet of the regular season.

According to the ustfccca there are 39 nationally ranked Division I teams in the field, including 21 men’s teams and 18 women’s squads.
