About Veterans Walkway

The Veterans Walkway brings together the stories of Calgarians who have served across generations, honouring their sacrifice, courage, and enduring contribution to our community. Their experiences, marked by bravery and resilience, form an important part of Calgary's rich military history.

The 5km walkway follows Memorial Drive from George C. King Bridge to 14 Street Bridge, with a medallion at Mewata Armoury. Over 100 stories commemorate veterans, places, and events. Walk in the footsteps of history.
