CONGRATS to my baby brother hauserhavenjones and his wifey miasaarelainen ! Wishing you guys allll the love and happiness in the world!

Thanks to #fostercare their special day will always be a special day to me too. I got a call from DCFS while they were in the temple asking me to take a little boy. Of course after waiting over 2 years for this moment I said no without hesitation, finished the wedding photos and rushed to target to get anything and everything I thought a 2 year old boy may need. Then I rushed home and in under an hour we transformed my Peloton room into a baby boys room. Minutes later the doorbell rang and into my arms came a very sweet and very confused little boy. I knew from that instant all the rush and chaos was worth it and I made the right choice. I got him fed and bathed and dressed in the cutest suspenders I’ve ever seen and just like that I had the worlds cutest wedding date. The funny thing is I think that little boy helped me more than I helped him. He reminded me what it was like to love unconditionally. I’d by lying if I said I wasn’t a little heart broken when they told me a family member had come forward for him the very next day but at the same time I was so happy for him. Now I’m sitting here weeks later praying he’s adjusted and praying for his future and I guess #thisisfostercare . #fostercarejourney
