NEWS: The Preservation Society of Newport County has appealed federal agency decisions approving massive wind farms off the coast of Rhode Island.
 
The Preservation Society filed the appeals in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia today, November 22nd. The appeals detail how the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) failed to comply with the heightened levels of review required under the National Environmental Policy Act and the National Historic Preservation Act.
