"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little site, it's not your usual campsite with grassy secluded pitches but has a good area with grass where units with awnings can be pitched and other pitches which are dotted around the car park. We had a fabulous view of the racecourse and the hills beyond. It's a good and inventive use of the racecourse when it's not running events. Very quiet and peaceful, good toilet block, very friendly staff and easy to walk or bus into Cheltenham. What more could you want for a very reasonable price? I'll stay here again." - SuzeVW, website review, August 2019.

Situated right on the edge of an elegant spa town, Cheltenham Racecourse Club campsite is a desirable site and the perfect base from which to explore the delights of the area. The town of Cheltenham is just one and a half miles from the campsite through a nearby park, or you can use the convenient regular transport service provided by the Park and Ride. The campsite is also well placed for visiting the city of Gloucester with its Cathedral and other historic buildings. 50 of the 76 pitches on site are hardstanding so you have a very good chance of securing a hardstanding pitch which gives you more opportunity to tour even when the weather is bad!
