"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you want peace and quiet and stunning scenery this is the place to go. Easy to find just off the A66 with a short drive to either Penrith or Keswick. Venture further over the Kirkstone Pass to Windermere for breathtaking views. The site itself is ideally located for a peaceful few days away from it all. The staff were friendly and efficient. All facilities were in tip top order and the wristband system appeared to work very well. Although I saw people waiting at one of the toilet and shower blocks, the one near the main entrance and serviced pitches area was always the quietest. The forest walk is a must either for non dog owners, or like us who took our dogs with us. We can't speak highly enough about Troutbeck Head and would recommend it it highly. We cannot wait to make a return visit." - anonymous, website review

Troutbeck Head Club Site in Penrith is set in classically beautiful North Lakeland countryside, and is conveniently only 4 miles from the restaurants and shops of Ullswater. A fabulous getaway for nature lovers and walkers, the campsite nestles in a picturesque valley alongside a babbling brook. Book a pitch at camc.com/uk-holidays
