"Delighted that site adjacent to Strathclyde Country Park - ideal for dog walking - although the site has a very good dog walk - it was great to walk by the loch in the park. Site wardens really pleasant and helpful - and shower block immaculately clean. Liked the layout of the site - spacious pitches and well spaced. The A74 runs close to the site - my fears that it would disrupt sleep were unfounded - it's just a background noise. I was staying her to visit friends in Glasgow - very convenient spot for the city." - HappyFeet, website review

Strathclyde Country Park is a pleasant ten minute walk from our campsite, with 1,000 acres of mature woodlands, wetlands, wildlife refuges and neat open parkland, set around Strathclyde Loch, offering unique bird and nature watching, miles of walking and cycle routes, as well as a whole range of watersports and golf.
