Beautiful Cleeve Abbey is a great day out for families and budding historians alike. Catch a glimpse of what monastic life was like 800 years ago with the exhibition and virtual tour. Sadly the abbey church was destroyed in 1536 but much of the 15th century refectory has survived. The surrounding countryside is peaceful and tranquil which is ideal for anyone wanting to take in the scenery after a tour around the abbey. Minehead Club Site is less than a 15 minute drive from the abbey, making it one for your list when you next visit the #campsite. Visit camc.com/uk-holidays to book a pitch
