Malawi are firmly putting the W in WAFCON. There is no such thing as flying too close to the sun when you are a Scorcher. A nation making their first-ever international tournament appearance have taken flight and reached the final. Read that again. From being ranked 153rd in the world to making the final two. This is a 1-of-1 moment. You are fortunate to be witnessing one of the greatest underdog stories African football has ever produced. Came out of the Group of Death alive and haven't looked back. Showed they are Black Stars against Ghana. Hunted down the Fennecs of Algeria and have now booked a date with destiny against Cameroon. A charge led by Temwa and Tabitha, who are both chasing the Golden Boot. You haven't seen siblings repping on the global stage like this since the Williams sisters were hitting aces. Now the Chawingas are serving up something special of their own and sending the net crazy. Word to their nation's nickname, Malawi have become the Warm Heart of Africa that everyone is falling in love with. The movie ain't over yet though. One more game. #malawi #wafcon #football #futebol #Soccer
