🗣️ "This is a lesson to all people out there to keep the faith. Sometimes even though what you think you might want, might not be what's for you. As my mother always said to me, 'What's for you won't pass you by.' Sometimes we just need to have a little patience. And sometimes that patience can not just be weeks or months but it can be years. I've always thought I'm meant to be in the sport.”

In 2023, we decided we wanted to invest some resources to having more of a boots-on-the-ground presence at Diamond League meets and events in Europe. On a run during the holiday season, @davidmccarthy_88’s passion for the sport struck a chord with @kylemerber and we decided we’d give him a tryout to be one of our European correspondent. It’s been less than a month and it seems like it’s working out. He’s buzzing with excitement to continue bringing you many more interviews, videos and insights.

🎧 On the latest episode of The CITIUS MAG Podcast, we figured it was time to give him a proper welcome and share a bit more of his story since you’ll be seeing a bit more of him this summer. Subscribe, stream, download and listen to the latest episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or wherever you get your shows.
