Through the Shi Institute for Sustainable Communities Summer Fellows program, students are getting hands-on experience with leading sustainability organizations and developing valuable career experience in green careers. Drew McDowell, a senior sustainability science major at Furman University, is supporting sustainability efforts as a Shi Fellow at #TheWell this summer, working with leadership to establish the foundation for the arena’s first sustainability program. (P.S. We were thrilled that Bon Secours Wellness Arena hosted this year’s BMW Charity Pro-Am Sustainability Summit!)
