## Caption

Karina and her mom Jessica didn’t plan to be at #GreatChefsEvent when their childhood cancer journey started. They’re from San Diego, but had to move to the Philadelphia area for treatment when Karina’s leukemia relapsed. Thanks to a clinical trial at CHOP though, Karina is now cancer-free!

Like many children, Karina is doing so well because of cutting-edge research to find better treatments. Support is critical for helping researchers to discover the best options for kids fighting cancer.
