I saw this picture from this past weekend of me warming up pitching at our camp in PA. It was at my finish/release- resisting my body (at a halt), sending all my energy to the ball. 🎯 This is where my spin, speed, and torque on the ball happen. The Lord spoke to me. I love how He does this. πŸ™Œ We constantly have to be resisting, temptations, fear, laziness, comfort, doubt, our body, mind, others, to be at our best. In order to give it/life everything we have, we cannot let our body/mind "give in" (although it is the easier way, so we often think/feel). Trust me, I have to fill my mind and heart with His truth's DAILY and not let the lies of this world take overπŸ‘ΏπŸ™…πŸΌ - because it will. We/I are at battle, constantly. We cannot go with the flow and in pitching- allow our body to go, follow our pitch because it will take my energy with it. We have worked too hard to get to this point... Leg drive, arm speed, exploding off the mound. We must put our front foot down, resist (a lot of things and to each their own) with ALL our might, and transfer ALL of our energy to the ball -on and off the the field to be ALL that we are called to be! Softballers, this is not only for pitching but hitting too & most of all- for the game of life. πŸ…πŸ†πŸ’₯ The stronger our front side/the more we are able to resist means the more POWER πŸ’ͺ we are able to bring!
