This is not your meemaw’s biscuits and gravy. 👩🏼‍🍳 Chef Elizabeth Grothe from Scampi and baker Paige Wernick from Rougarou put some New Orleans funk on it. They’re cooking up a 🍤 sausage rolled up into a meatball and served in an étouffée-style, Italian-ish gravy. It’s a dish you can only get at the Inquirer Food Fest on Saturday, Nov. 15 at The Fillmore. I’ll be there. They’ll be there.
