Congrats are in order for our #BMIComposer Jongnic Bontemps, who wrote the score for the highly anticipated film, #TransformersRiseoftheBeasts which brought in $60.5 million in its first weekend! Additionally, in celebration of #BlackMusicMonth, it’s especially important to note that Bontemps is the first black composer to score for the #Transformers franchise and according to Variety, “Bontemps is believed to be the first African-American composer to score such an expensive studio movie.”  Bravo! #BMIFilmTV
