Netflix has another hit with ‘Best of the Best,’ starring Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Priyanka Kedia as childhood best friends who join UCLA’s competitive Bollywood-fusion dance team. Co-written by Hasan Minhaj and Prashanth Venkataramanujam, the film was inspired by their own college experiences around South Asian dance competitions and centers on friendship, ambition, and cultural identity. (via @Variety) #bestofthebest #films #movies #cinema #streaming
