If you could let people know something about your life or how you want to be treated by the general public, what would it be? 

Limited visibility and inclusion is one major hurdle the disability community is working to overturn. We don't see ourselves represented enough in media. Long-held prejudiced beliefs about living with a disability haven't been drowned out enough. That's why raising our voices is so important. 

Shows like this by Canadian broadcaster @cbc on @cbcgem elevate our community as well as educate the general public about living with a disability.
