Do the Cleveland Browns need Deshaun Watson to become his old Houston self to make the playoffs? Max Loeb makes the case that this team can win with the quarterback it has right now.

Following Cleveland’s win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, Max joins Jack O’Rourke, Chris McNeil and Pat McGuire on BIGPLAY Cleveland to explain why the Browns’ defense, young receivers and ability to finish games give them a real path forward.

The conversation breaks down Watson’s highs and lows, Denzel Boston’s impact, the AFC North opportunity and why Cleveland’s running game still needs work. Max sees the potential for a physical team opponents won’t want to face in December and January—but there are problems to solve first.

Is this version of Watson enough to get the Browns into the playoffs?
