Does Jimmy Haslam deserve any credit for Deshaun Watson’s renewed confidence? Chef Zae makes the case—and Chris McNeil has an immediate objection.

After Watson describes getting emotional during the Browns’ win over Carolina, Zae argues that support from Haslam, JW Johnson and Todd Monken has helped the quarterback play with more freedom and confidence.

Chris challenges that explanation by pointing to ownership’s “swing and a miss” comments. How does publicly criticizing the investment fit with the idea that the organization was building Watson back up?

Does Haslam deserve any credit here, or are you with Chris?
