Could Peyton Watson be the Cleveland Cavaliers’ best small forward since LeBron James—and the missing piece that FINALLY gets the Cavs back to the NBA Finals?

Sam Amico joins BIGPLAY Cleveland to explain why Watson could change which teams Cleveland can beat in a playoff series. His defensive versatility, shot blocking and scoring potential could give Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley the help they need for a Finals run this season.

The biggest test? Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks. Sam breaks down why Watson gives Cleveland a better chance to slow down Brunson, match up with elite perimeter players and protect the basket.

We also examine what separates Watson from previous Cavs wings like De’Andre Hunter, Isaac Okoro and Max Strus—and why his potential still has to translate into the right fit on the court and in the locker room.

Is Watson the player who finally puts this Cavs roster over the top?
