The Cleveland Browns have officially named Deshaun Watson their starting quarterback over Shedeur Sanders — and the BIGPLAY Cleveland crew believes head coach Todd Monken just made a massive mistake.

The guys break down why Watson winning the Browns QB1 job is the wrong decision, whether Shedeur Sanders actually outplayed Watson during the preseason and whether Cleveland’s quarterback competition was ever truly open.

They also discuss what this decision means for Shedeur going forward, the pressure now facing Watson and Monken, and how quickly things could change if the Browns struggle to start the regular season.

Watch BIGPLAY Cleveland LIVE Monday–Friday from 12:00–1:30 PM ET for daily coverage of the Cleveland Browns, Guardians and Cavaliers.
