Bruce Drennan and Matt Fontana break down the latest surrounding Texas Tech quarterback Brendan Sorsby’s decision to enter the NFL Supplemental Draft, including whether the Browns should get involved and what kind of draft capital it would take to land him. The conversation also includes a blind resume comparison, stacking Sorsby’s production from last season against two of the top quarterback prospects in college football to evaluate how he measures up.

Plus, Bruce Drennan and Matt Fontana break down the Cleveland Guardians’ growing injury concerns and whether the offense can hold up long enough to keep the team in the playoff race before reinforcements arrive. The discussion also turns to ESPN’s Jeff Passan’s list of potential MLB trade deadline targets, highlighting which names could realistically be on Cleveland’s radar as the deadline approaches.

Finally, the conversation turns to Kyrie Irving’s reported absence from the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 10-year championship reunion, with Bruce and Matt debating whether “ghosting” former teammates is actually a big deal or just part of an already complicated legacy from the 2016 title team. To wrap, golf professional Mike Jaeger joins the show to preview the 2026 U.S. Open, breaking down key players, course challenges, and who might be poised to make a run on golf’s biggest stage.
