Amid the ongoing Browns quarterback competition between Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders, Matt continues to make the case that Watson will ultimately open the season as the Week 1 starter, while also arguing that the team’s long-term answer at quarterback will likely come from the 2027 rookie draft class. Matt and Ryan also debate whether the battle between Watson and Sanders has truly been a “fair competition,” or if it ultimately just comes down to who gives the team the best chance to win right now.

In addition, Matt reacts to a potential blockbuster trade scenario floated by NBA writer Zach Pincus that would bring LeBron James back to Cleveland.
