My oldest can now pick me up off the ground!

She’s 10 and both as fierce and as stubborn as I am.

Not all of my kids are athletes but they all value strength and know it comes in more than just physical form.

I love encouraging my kids to try hard things. Sometimes they fail and I encourage them to keep trying. And then seeing their reaction when they eventually achieve it… there’s truly nothing more fulfilling.

I tell all of my kids that they are capable of seemingly impossible things. We talk about failure and how we all walk through that on our way to success, how it actually helps steer us towards our goals.

I can’t wait to see what feat they attempt next!
