## Caption

For many right now, the world feels like it’s burning down around us. If you’re one of those people, be encouraged because one thing remains the same- Jesus is still Lord.

If you are fearful, anxious, depressed, hopeless… cry out to Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

And when we cry out to Him, He hears. Over and over in the Psalms God reminds us that He hears our cries!

Psalm 34:18 says, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”

Praying is not passive. Praying is action.

God can deliver. God can heal. God can change hearts. God can rebuild. God can make all things new.

He may not always say yes to the things we ask of Him, but when we consistently talk to God, we build a relationship with Him. And He will continue to sanctify us day by day and molds us into all He created us to be.

Don’t short change prayer or the One to whom you’re praying. I have seen impossible things happen because with God all things are possible (Mark 10:27).
