My oldest daughter and I just had a couple of days of one-on-one time.

We shopped, we played games, we went swimming, we ate yummy food, we talked about growing up, we got fancy, we worked out, we made lip gloss & made fancy nails, we stayed up late giggling and talking and we watched lots of puppy videos.

As we were packing up this morning, I asked her what her favorite part of our time together was.

Her answer:

“Spending time with you.”

Parents, we need to remember that of all the things kids say they want, what they really want (and need) is just time to be with us.

So thankful for this precious time❤️.
