Still processing all that happened last week.

There was disappointment and frustration, but there was also much beauty and joy.

That combination of things is often hard to rectify in our mind and heart.

So I’m praying through it, talking with my husband and loving on my family right now as I walk this out.

I heard a great analogy one time that God only shows us the next step on the staircase because we can manage to take that one step. But if He showed us the whole staircase, we might run the other direction!

And I know that’s certainly true for my life so far as I can look back and see all that He’s led us through to this point.

So as He shines light on the path in front of me, I’ll continue to take that next step.

“My steps have held to your paths; my feet have not stumbled.” - Psalm 17:5
