## Caption

This little flower picker helped me get my clothes on today. She and her big sister took a little walk around the neighborhood with me, made wishes on dandelions and hunted for four leafed clovers.

Being forced to slow down and depend on other people is certainly a hard adjustment, but it has a beautiful side to it.
.
My kids are being incredibly helpful, thoughtful and loving. It’s a treasure for me to see them rise up when they’re needed and not question me when I ask for something.
.
I’m not so much in pain as just in a fairly constant state of discomfort. I know each day will get better and also offer different challenges. And I’m thankful for all the ways I know God is going to change me and grow me through this process.
