Itty Bit was so scared and sad the first few days we had her. Her default expression was a kind of numb, glazed over look (pic on the left).

But every day she got a little more comfortable around us and learned that she could trust us. Now she is a total ham, always trying to make us laugh, and loves to be the life of the party!

Relationships are messy. They take a willingness to wade into the muck and get dirty, and maybe for long periods of time. Relationships can be exhausting. But they are also the most beautiful and uplifting thing we can have in this life.
