God is good. We are so excited to introduce you to the newest addition to our family.... Dakaia.

Today was a HUGE day! We passed court, got our court decree, birth certificate, vital letter AND our daughter!
.
It was late at night by the time we got to her orphanage, so that added an extra layer of stress and confusion, but this brave little one seemed to remember me. She cried for a minute in the car, but calmed down quickly, put her head on my shoulder, hung on to my ponytail for dear life and then slept the entire way to the hotel.
.
She woke up when we got here, but didn’t cry, just took everything in. It’s a whole big new world now.

This cuddle bug felt safest in my arms where she is currently snoring up a storm. .
I’m in heaven. .
