Over the past two weeks since we came home without our daughter, I have received countless comments, messages, emails and texts letting us know people were praying for us.
.
While I truly appreciate all the sweet messages and people reaching out, honestly that first week I couldn’t process all of it. I couldn’t sleep, then I couldn’t stop sleeping. I had no motivation to do anything at all. I had trouble just having a normal conversation. Tears would come without warning then leave me totally numb.
.
An introvert by nature, it’s easy for me to withdraw completely from the people and world around me. But because of all of your prayers, God kept drawing me to His Word. Whispering His promises and reminding me of his faithfulness, He began to ease the pain and replace the emptiness with comforting peace. .
Over and over and over again, He pressed in on me to WAIT. He reminded me to TRUST Him. He has renewed my HOPE not in our situation, but in HIM.

Thank you to each one of you that has lifted us up in prayer. When the church comes together, we see the beauty of God working among us. ❤️
