Here’s an ultimate #flashbackfriday
.
This is my very first platform competition at my home pool. I had been diving for about a year and I was 16.
.
I was not some child prodigy. I was not an ultra talented phenom. I simply loved the sport and was passionate about doing it.
.
One year later, I earned my first US National Title and World Cup medal in 10 meter synchro. Two years after that, I won NCAA’s and my first individual US National Title. The next year, I won my first international competition. .
Just six years after this mediocre 5 meter list, I won the Olympic Games.
.
Nothing is impossible.
