This girl. She is going to change the world. And she's starting with me.
•
On a quick trip to the grocery store today, Arella asked me why some stores weren't open. So I explained that some stores close on Easter and other holidays to let the workers spend time with their families. •
She thought about it for a minute, then declared, "When I grow up, I'm going to dive AND spend time with my family!"
•
We pulled up to a stop sign, so I turned around to look at her and she continued, "You work hard Mom, AND you spend time with your family."
•
I'm tearing up at this point because I've had serious Mommy guilt about not being home full time any more. But before I could say anything, she finished...
•
"You are a champion Mom. You are."
•
And she said it with such conviction, the flood gates lifted and my tears flowed. •
I replied, "Baby, you have filled my bucket to overflowing." •
