Arc’teryx released their Fall/Winter 2026 snow lineup today, and we got hands-on with five pieces before the season starts. This is a preview, not a review — we’re walking through the gear, the construction, and what we’re most excited to test once the snow flies in Colorado. Full reviews come after we put real days on all of it.

The headliner is the return of the Sidewinder. Twenty-five years ago it was Arc’teryx’s first freeride shell, defined by a relaxed fit, premium materials, and an industry-first offset zipper that curves away from your chin. It’s been out of the snow lineup for eight years — and it’s back for FW26 with that same 3D-molded zipper, PFAS-free GORE-TEX ePE. Available in men’s and women’s, launching October 9th at $ 850 globally.

We’ve also got the his-and-hers bib pairing — the men’s Sabre and the women’s Sentinel, same N80p 3L GORE-TEX construction with a flannel backer, full-length bibs with adjustable suspenders, Keprotec insteps, thigh vents, and a RECCO reflector. Plus the Sabre Glove, Arc’teryx’s short-cuff insulated GORE-TEX freeride glove with leather-reinforced palms and dual PrimaLoft insulation. And the brand-new Postour Boot — a 2-in-1 recovery boot that’s genuinely unlike anything else out there.
