In this review we break down the Patagonia Black Hole Pack 32L — the midsize workhorse of the Black Hole line and one of the best do-everything packs out there. It's built from 8.7-oz 300-denier 100% postconsumer recycled polyester ripstop with a recycled TPU-film laminate and DWR finish, so it shrugs off snow and rain without feeling like a brick — the whole thing comes in just under 2 lbs. Inside you get a big, easy-to-pack main compartment with a zippered mesh organizer, a padded 15" laptop sleeve. The luggage pass-through handle stacks it on a roller, and it's carry-on compliant for most airlines. Commute, crag, trail, or a flight across the world — this one covers it.
