Nocs Provisions Zero Tube Monocular Review - Lightweight and Ultra Portable

The Nocs Zero Tube is a 7.2oz palm-sized monocular with ED glass and IPX7 waterproofing — the optic you'll actually carry. Full review.

In this review we break down the Nocs Provisions Zero Tube 10x25 — the smallest, lightest, and most advanced monocular Nocs has built. The whole pitch is that the best optic is the one you actually bring, and at 205 grams (7.2 oz) in a 110mm x 40mm package, this thing disappears into a hip pocket or clips onto a pack strap.

But it doesn't cut corners on glass: extra-low dispersion (ED) elements paired with dielectric-coated BaK4 prisms and fully multi-coated lenses deliver genuinely sharp resolution, strong contrast, and accurate color. It's IPX7 waterproof — submersible for 30 minutes in three feet of water — with a medical-grade O-ring assembly and nitrogen-purged chambers so it won't fog.

The ridged no-slip housing doubles as impact protection, the focus knob is built into the barrel for one-handed adjustment, and the twist-up eyecup accommodates eyeglass wearers. For scoping wildlife, reading a line before you drop in, birding, or stargazing from camp, this is the one that comes along.
