In this review, Devan Dowd breaks down the brand-new Teva Trailpeak — the biggest swing Teva has ever taken at trail running, and the first shoe co-created through the Teva Bureau of Adventure with ultrarunners Mike Wardian and Erin Ton. At under 8.3 oz per shoe in a 9, it's the lightest trail runner in Teva's history, built around HYPER-COMF+® SCF supercritical foam — their lightest and most responsive cushioning to date. A secure internal support cage locks the foot down without adding bulk, and a Spider Rubber® Endure outsole handles traction and durability. Teva's athletes pushed prototypes through sharp switchbacks, rocky scrambles, and fast mountain days, and their feedback shaped the responsiveness, stability, and overall feel. The result is a shoe Teva calls a "cannonball into the deep end" of trail running — nimble on climbs, secure on descents, and comfortable enough to keep wearing long after the run ends.
