Gregory Arrio 28L Backpack Review - Stretchy Hip Belt for Comfort

The Gregory Arrio 28 is a lightweight, ultra-ventilated daypack built to disappear on your back for long day hikes and fast trail missions. Full review.

In this review we break down the Gregory Arrio 28 — a lightweight (just over 2 lbs) day-hiking pack that nails the sweet spot between minimalist efficiency and all-day comfort. The star is Gregory's VaporSpan tensioned back panel: a suspended, engineered-mesh system that holds the pack off your back for serious airflow and body-mapped support, so you skip that cold, sweat-soaked back at the summit. Add an ultra-flexible CloudControl hipbelt that moves with you, a breathable harness, and genuinely smart organization, and you've got a 28-liter hauler ready for big day hikes, peak-bagging, and "might as well keep going" missions. Rated to carry up to 25 lbs, and also offered in a Plus Size fit.

What we get into:
✅ VaporSpan suspended-mesh back panel — airflow & mapped support
✅ CloudControl flexible hipbelt that moves with your body
✅ Organization: top quick-access pocket, front zip panel & main compartment
✅ Dual angled stretch-mesh side pockets (fit larger bottles) + shove-it pocket
✅ Hydration: internal sleeve + SpeedClip hanger (reservoir sold separately)
✅ Trekking pole attachments, safety whistle & reflective points
✅ PFAS-free recycled materials & Gregory's Limited Lifetime Warranty
✅ Fit, sizing (16"–21" torso, Plus Size available) & who it's for
