## Caption

We continue to face a severe blood shortage, made worse by recent extreme winter weather. About 800 blood drives have been canceled since the beginning of the year, leading to more than 20,000 uncollected blood and platelet donations.

We are in urgent need of donors to help patients who are counting on lifesaving blood following accidents, during surgeries, and for treatment of conditions such as sickle cell disease and cancer.

Help us beat this shortage by scheduling an appointment to give blood or platelets through the link in our bio.
