Ice and easy does it! Don't start the new year with a shattered windshield.

If your windows freeze over because of cold weather, don’t pour hot water on them. The rapid change in temperature could cause them to crack. Make a homemade de-icing spray instead to help quickly defrost the ice. 

Use a spray bottle and mix:
- Two-thirds rubbing alcohol
- One-third water
