Just because your cat loves making biscuits doesn't mean you should use butter to treat their burns.

Butter and other greasy substances can actually make a burn worse by trapping in heat. Here's what you should do:

- If a burn is serious or deep, go to a veterinary hospital right away.
- For superficial burns, run it under cool water.
- You can also use a cool compress instead.
- Place a clean, moist cloth over the burned area.
