We love our Red Cross youth volunteers. 💖 Recently, a group of them had the opportunity to meet other young volunteers working in Indonesia with the Indonesian Red Cross (PalangMerah_Indonesia). Cara Elzie is part of this awesome group and shared with us what the experience was like.

"Connecting with other youth from around the world who are dedicated to working on the causes the Red Cross stands for was an experience unlike anything I have had before," Cara said. "We heard from other youth volunteers about the issues they feel are most intensely impacting Indonesia, such as climate change, disaster relief, mental health and youth development."

If you want to pursue volunteer opportunities like Cara's, tap the link in our bio for more information on our different youth programs across the country.
