We’re responding to nearly twice as many large disasters in the U.S. as we did a decade ago. This is a result of our changing climate, which is causing more intense and frequent disasters.

➡️ #Idalia is the strongest hurricane to make landfall in the Big Bend region in more than 125 years.

➡️ #HeatWaves across more than 20 states from the Midwest to the Gulf Coast have affected as many as 130 million people.

➡️ The #MauiFires in Hawaii are the deadliest wildfires in the last century.

➡️ Typhoon #Mawar was one of the strongest storms to hit the U.S. territory of Guam in decades.

Now is the time to take action and address the climate crisis that is upending lives and devastating entire communities.
