Last year, 21.9 million children missed their routine measles vaccination. Measles takes the lives of hundreds of children globally each day and is one of the most contagious and severe childhood diseases. That’s why we’re part of the Measles & Rubella Partnership, which has already helped vaccinate over 3 billion children.

During this program, kids like Patience receive house calls from Red Cross volunteers who talk to parents about vaccines and provide health information. In rural areas, some teams walk 40 minutes just to reach one house. Those minutes can be lifesaving. ❤️
