## Caption

In Washington state, hundreds of people have had to evacuate their homes due to the #GrayFire and #OregonRoadFire. RedCrossNorthwest volunteers have opened shelters to support people affected and provide them with a safe place to sleep, eat, shower and receive other critical resources, like health services.

While in shelters, residents can connect with a Red Cross nurse who will help replace prescription medications, eyeglasses or medical equipment that was left behind when evacuating.
